Well, it's been awhile and so much has changed/happened since my last post.
In January we found out i was pregnant with our first child.
I continued to Crossfit through my pregnancy with the guidance from www.CrossfitMom.com site.
On August 10th, I started having cramping that was very painful. August 11th, I went to Sierra Vista and recieved some scary news. I was 2cm dilated and contracting. Chris was over 10 hours away on a fire and I just melted down. 3 day hospital stay and strict bed rest for 4 weeks were prescribed.
Once I hit 36 weeks I was taken off bed rest, and able to move around.
September 27th at 9am; my water broke. Around noon we arrived at the hospital and by 1:30pm or so they verified my water had broken and the game was on.
15 hours later our little baby boy arrived.
Brandt French was born on September 28th at 3:53am 7lbs 6oz 20inches.
Once I hit 7 or 8 weeks postpartum, I went back to Crossfit. I enjoy mommy time, but I missed working out.
December 10th, I decided I wanted to change my career and be a full time mommy. And it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made.
Now for what's going on currently :)
I will be heading up to NorCal CrossFit in San Jose February 7-8th to get my Level 1 Certificate. I'm BEYOND excited and cannot wait! Chris will be heading up with me to take care of our baby boy while I'm in class. I must say I'm very thankful to have such an amazing husband be so supportive of all my endeavors.
I will be making more of an effort to post on here. Sharing my new journey as a CrossFit Mom!
Until next time! Xo
